Black Girl Ventures (BGV), founded by Shelly Bell, continues to support Black and Brown women entrepreneurs through funding and community-building initiatives. In a recent development, BGV launched the "Founders Fund," an initiative that provides capital and resources to early-stage entrepreneurs.

The Founders Fund has already awarded $500,000 in grants to 50 Black women-owned businesses across the U.S. The fund also includes mentorship and networking opportunities, helping these entrepreneurs scale their businesses and navigate the challenges of starting a new venture. BGV’s efforts are crucial in closing the funding gap for Black women entrepreneurs and fostering economic empowerment within the community.
